Lately, I fee l like I have been living for the weekends. With the stresses of work picking up and obligations the past couple of weeks it seems like I havenโ€™t found the time to unwind. I am a full believer that your mental health + wellness is just as important as your physical but for me it’s almost harder to do. It can be hard to find the time to just do nothing, to put away your phone, cancel your plans, & just take time for YOU. So I challenged myself to spend one night this weekend before heading to Tulsa to do just that. Here are the 4 things I am using to unwind this weekend.

How to: Stay hydrated with 4 easy steps

Confession: I have always LOVED drinking water. But after starting my job in a corporate office that offers a free soda fountain (YUM), I found it hard not to automatically reach for a soda any time I was thirsty/bored/tired etc. (Especially since the water fountain was further away). A couple months in, I started finding that my drive to workout was shrinking and I was getting headaches when I went without caffeine. I decided I needed to make a change.

Over the past few months, I have found a few easy ways to start drinking more water at the office and now I hardly ever reach for that soda. One of the main things my friends/family ask me is how I was able to cut it out. Believe me it wasnโ€™t easy, but these simple tricks helped.
