This post is a long time coming. I get questions all of the time about my Levi 501 Jeans. I love my 501s. They are the best because they don’t stretch too much during the day and are super flattering on everyone! The best thing about 501 is all of the different styles and shades. If you search them on the blog you will see tons of posts featuring my favorites including cropped, washed out black, busted knees, and my newest additions these! They are their skinny 501s called “Post Modern Blues” and you can get them here (on sale), here, and here!
The question I get the most on these jeans is the sizing. The waist sizing is probably the only bad thing about Levis. Out of the four pairs I have only two of them are the same size. The best advice I can give is to look at the reviews. I have noticed that the 501s that have a zip fly (ex – busted skinny from this post) run true to size. If they have button fly (like these jeans and the ones from this post) they run a little smaller so I suggest sizing up.
As for length. If you are getting your Levi’s from Shopbop, Revolve, or Nordstrom you can expect them to be the standard 30 in length. If you are getting them directly from the Levi website you can choose from 28 in length which is perfect if you are taller and want a cropped fit or if you are petite. They also come in 32 which is perfect for you taller girls or if you are wanting to cut them off to make a raw hem but you still want them long. I tend to buy mine in 30 so that I can wear them cuffed and uncuffed.
If you have any questions at all be sure to reach out! This exact style of jeans comes in tons of colors so be sure to check for your favorites!
