Happy Friday Friends! I don’t have much to say about this quote other than I am so thankful to have parents who raised me to believe this message!
I have the best dad who pushed me to pursue my passions, one who would defend me in all situations but wasn’t afraid to tell me when I was wrong. My dad picked up when I fell down but he also reminded me I was strong enough to do that myself if I needed to. He taught me to love and kindness and compassion but he also taught me strength and confidence.
Then there is my amazing mom. A woman who I admire with my whole heart. She taught me what it means to be strong and independent, to pursue big dreams and goals even in a man’s corporate world. She has taught me so many lessons but this one I am so thankful for. She has shown me that you can have grace, strength, and intelligence and strong but still be the best dressed and stand out in the room. She too continues to make me believe in this quote too.
I know that this post is a little different and more personal than most but I think with all that is going on in the world, this is such an important message. We all place limits on ourselves that shouldn’t be there or let ourselves believe the lies other people tell us. Lies that say something isn’t practical or can’t be done when in reality we are capable of so much more than we ever would dream for ourselves.
Anyway! I hope you all have a great weekend! I will be back with a fun beauty find next week and I can’t wait to share it with you all!
