I can not believe that Easter is almost here. I love shopping for Easter looks. With two family Easters to go to this year I had to find multiple options. In honor of all of the possible looks for this weekend, I have partnered with one of my favorite bloggers, Abigail Says, to bring you two very different Easter looks to fit your unique style.
For those of you who do not know Abigail, you are in for a serious treat. She is one of the funniest, cutest, and kindest people I know. Not to mention she has great style and posts some amazing life and beauty tips.
Before I get to telling you about our amazing Easter outfits, I have to tell you the story behind this shoot. A couple of weeks ago, we met up in Oklahoma City to write and shoot this collaboration post. After an hour or so of shooting we were finally getting close to finished. While looking at our pictures, all of them “magically” disappeared. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Any way…. after a little (or a lot) of panicking, we ended up re shooting and getting some great looks.
One of my favorite things about Easter (besides the candy) is all of the pastel colors. I was excited to find this blue pastel wrap dress. I chose this dress mainly for the shape but I love the color too. Not only is the fit extremely flattering, it also has the perfect amount of flow. I am a little partial to the deeper V-neck with the wrap tie. It helps define your waist and is very feminine without being to revealing. This dress would be super cute with sandals (I am thinking a pair of nude Tory Burch sandals or Jack Rodgers), but the longer length makes it great for heels or wedges. I chose to wear one of my favorite pairs of neutral wedges, but will definitely be wearing this dress with a pair of strappy heels this weekend. This make is perfect for those Easter brunches, church services, and family events.
I also loved Abi’s outfit. The gingham lace midi skirt is perfect for a more conservative but chic look. I love the higher waist and the unique slip overlay on the skirt. I also love that she paired it with a neutral top. This really allows you to transition it into more casual events. I also am slightly obsessed with her wrap heels. They complement her outfit perfectly and will be great with so many outfits this spring. For more details on her outfit check out her post going live this morning here!
You can shop most of the pieces from our Easter looks for under $50! Is it Thursday yet? I am so excited to be going to the Pioneer Woman Mercantile with my mom Thursday! Stay tuned for a feature story on my trip later this week:) What are your plans for this weekend?
